Order Cancellation/Modification Request Form

All requests for cancellation or modification are governed by the strict rules below. Failure to meet these criteria will result in denial.

  1. Submit Request within Deadline: Fill up the Cancellation/Modification Request Form below within 12 hours of placing your order.

    • The 12-hour limit applies equally to both order cancellations and modifications.

  2. Order Hold: Upon submission, your order will be immediately put on hold to prevent dispatch.

  3. Review and Approval: Allow 24–48 hours for our team to review your request for eligibility and process the required changes or cancellation.

  4. Resolution: Once your request is approved:

    • For Modification: Your order details will be updated, and any payment difference will be managed via adjustment.

    • For Cancellation: Your order will be duly cancelled. The refund will be initiated to your original method of payment. However in cases of repeated cancellations, we reserve the right to deduct the payment gateway charges from the refund. 


 

Important Financial and Service Notice

  • Payment Gateway Deduction: StudioBackdrops.com reserves the right to deduct the actual payment gateway transaction charges (typically 2% to 3% of the order value) from any approved refund, as these charges are incurred by us instantly and are non-recoverable from the gateway. (This is only done in cases of repeated cancellation.)

  • Service Denial: We reserve the right to deny future service or cancel new orders from customers with a history of repeated cancellations.

    What is the absolute deadline for canceling or modifying my order?

    The deadline for both cancellation and modification requests is strictly 12 hours from the time you placed the order. After 12 hours, or once the order status changes to "Dispatched," the order is final and cannot be altered.

    We reserve the right to deduct the actual transaction charges (typically 2% to 3% of the order value) from your refund, as these are non-recoverable fees incurred immediately upon placing the order. This is only done in cases of repeated cancellation.

    No. Orders placed during sales, promotional events, or using any form of discount code are deemed Final Sale and are strictly non-cancellable or non-refundable under any circumstances.

    If a requested modification increases the order value, the modification will only be processed after you have completed the payment for the difference. If the modification decreases the order value, the net refund will be given as store credit.

    Once a cancellation request is submitted and our team begins the approval process, the order is immediately put on hold. If the request is approved and the refund is processed, the order cannot be reversed or reinstated.
