The inside of the AriesX 2-in-1 Convertible Umbrella is a translucent umbrella made of ripstop nylon, providing 1 stop of diffusion.It will diffuse the light and expand your light source. It will give you a softer quality of light that will illuminate your subject with a glow. Also, it helps soften and diffuse light to create a soft portrait and is a favourite of portrait and baby photographers.

It also comes with a black cover with a silver backing that transforms the translucent modifier into a reflective one. If you use it with the black cover, it will bounce your light source into the reflective interior. You will get soft highlights with a natural looking catchlight.
