It helps tighten the beam angle for a narrower light spread and control spill light that can interfere with the background. They are amazing lighting tools when you want to control the light very accurately and want to play with hard light and shadows.
It is a light modifier that gives you better control over the light. The honeycomb grid helps you produce a harder quality of light. It gives you a very narrow beam of light and helps you control any light spill. It gives you a narrow 20° beam of light that is perfect for an accent light or spot. A tension spring can stretch or arch to fit the reflector.
