It helps tighten the beam angle for a narrower light spread and control spill light that can interfere with the background. They are amazing lighting tools when you want to control the light very accurately and want to play with hard light and shadows.

It gives you a very narrow beam of light and helps you control any light spill. It gives you a narrow 20° beam of light that is perfect for an accent light or spot.
