StudioBackdrops.com ships professional photography and studio equipment across India. This page tells you exactly how we ship, how long it takes, and what happens when something goes wrong in transit.
We offer free shipping on all orders across India. There is no minimum order value. No shipping charge will be added at checkout.
We deliver to 22,000+ pincodes across India. Pincode serviceability is confirmed after your order is placed, as availability may change depending on local logistics conditions. If your pincode becomes unserviceable after ordering, we will contact you to resolve it.
Some pincodes are EDL (Extended Delivery Locations) with no nearby logistics hub. For these locations, a dedicated vehicle can be arranged. For pincode serviceability queries before ordering, contact our WhatsApp Support at +91 84470 55500 or check serviceability on our courier partners’ websites.
We do not ship internationally at this time. All orders must have a delivery address within India.
Orders are processed on business days, Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays. Once your payment is confirmed, your order is typically dispatched within 24 to 48 hours.
Handpainted backdrops are made to order and take 5 to 6 business days to produce before dispatch. This is noted on the individual product pages.
During sale events, festive periods, or periods of unusually high order volume, processing may take longer. We will notify you if there is a significant delay.
You will receive an order confirmation email and WhatsApp message immediately after payment. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a separate shipping notification with your tracking number and courier details.
A GST-compliant tax invoice is included with your shipment as per Government of India regulations.
Delivery timeframes are estimated from the date of dispatch and exclude weekends and public holidays. Actual delivery depends on the courier’s operational capacity and external factors such as weather or carrier disruptions. We do not guarantee delivery on a specific date.
Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad: 6 to 7 business days.

10 to 12 business days. In certain cases where direct delivery is not available, the courier may use a local delivery partner for the last mile.
We offer two expedited options for eligible orders and pincodes:
- Next Day Delivery (Delhi-NCR): Available for select pincodes on orders placed before 2pm. Dispatched the same day via our trucking partner. Additional charges apply and are payable directly to the delivery person at the time of delivery (approximately Rs. 600 to Rs. 1,500 depending on order size).
- Expedited / Air Shipping: Available for select products and pincodes. Delivery within 72 hours of pickup. Charges vary by order. If your order is eligible, we will inform you of the charges and how to add it to your cart.

We ship from warehouses in New Delhi, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Rajkot. Your order is dispatched from the nearest warehouse where the product is available. If you order multiple products, they may be shipped from different locations and arrive in separate parcels with separate tracking numbers.
We ship with the following courier partners. The courier is assigned automatically based on your pincode, the nature of the product, and operational availability at the time of dispatch.
- Blue Dart, Delhivery, Xpressbees, and other regional courier partners
We do not offer a choice of courier at checkout. If you have a strong preference due to prior delivery issues, contact us at [email protected] before placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate the request.
Large orders such as multiple backdrop rolls, C-stand kits, or large studio light sets may be shipped in multiple parcels. Each parcel will have its own tracking number. All tracking numbers will be sent to you in your shipping notification.
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email and WhatsApp. You can track your order at any time using the Track Your Order page on our website or directly on the courier’s website using your AWB number.

Couriers typically make two to three delivery attempts. If you are unavailable on all attempts, the parcel will be returned to our facility. This is treated as a refused delivery under our Return Policy — a 30% restocking fee applies and the remaining amount is credited to your store wallet.
It is your responsibility to provide a complete and correct delivery address at the time of ordering. We are not liable for non-delivery or delay caused by an incorrect or incomplete address. Address corrections after dispatch are not always possible and may incur additional charges from the courier.
In rare cases, a pincode that was serviceable at the time of ordering may become unserviceable after dispatch due to courier operational changes. In this situation, we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery point or process a full refund.
If the outer packaging of your order appears visibly crushed, torn, wet, or tampered with at the time of delivery, do not accept the parcel. Refuse it and contact us immediately.
If you accept a damaged parcel without recording the condition, we cannot process a transit damage claim later. Please refer to our full Return and Replacement Policy for the mandatory unboxing video and evidence requirements.
