The AriesX StarX Turtle Base C-Stand is an essential tool for photography and video production. The AriesX StarX C-Stand is the swiss army knife of studio tools. It has so many benefits that usual light stands just do not compare to it. Whether you are rigging heavy lights, floating a boom mic, or holding up a seamless background, this stand can do it all.  

This Kit comprises of a detachable turtle base, a vertical column, a 40” Extension Arm, and two 2.5 inch grip heads. It features a heavy duty design and is a sturdy addition to any studio. In fact, it can be folded down to a small size of 4.7ft height. The setup is so compact, you can even take it to any location you require. When it comes to installing your heavy duty studio lights, LED lights, sound systems, light modifiers and every other product, the StarX C-Stand gives you a much better foundation. 

The C-Stand can be used in many different ways and is a multifaceted tool. You can even use it as a portable backdrop stand by removing the extension arm and adding a crossbar. Or you can use the extension arm to install a smaller sized backdrop. It can be used to set up studio lights at different heights. The entire set up is also perfect for using as a boom stand.

The Turtle Base C-Stand has a detachable base which helps you easily store the product. In fact, you can use the base itself as a stand with a low height. The twist and release locking legs can swing out and lock into place for easy setup. And they collapse for easy storage. The individual legs can be fixed in any position, which is not possible with other stands.

The included extension grip arm fits neatly into the stand’s removable 2.5 inch grip head. It allows you to position lights, gobos, and flags at any height or position you want. The second grip head can be used to mount another product. You can offset the stand as needed to keep it out of the way of action. Each riser section has a spring based mechanism that protects your equipment from any sudden drops in stand elevation.

The closed height of the product is 4.7ft. The maximum height you can raise it to is 10.6ft or 323cm. The main column of the C-Stand can bear a weight of up to 35kgs. And with the grip extension arm, it can bear a weight of up to 15kgs. This way you can install any type of product you require on the StarX C-Stand. 

The stand has a lower centre of gravity which allows the mounting of heavy equipment without tipping the entire system. You should always place the product on the extension arm right about the tallest leg. This ensures that the stand remains balanced. The legs are also perfectly shaped for placing sandbags and heavy weights to keep the C-Stand balanced.
