AriesX photo video Shoot through Photography Umbrella is a unique light-shaping tool that is all about your convenience. It is a softbox that mounts like an umbrella, making it easy to set up. It doesn’t require a speed ring and can be used with different brands of strobes. It can be used with lights from AriesX, Godox, Nanlite, Elinchrom and more.
The Shoot through Umbrella has a black backing for light control. It prevents any leakage of light and helps you focus the light better. It has a hook and loop tape opening to partially open the frame if you require it. But this same mechanism keeps the umbrella snugly fit and prevents any loss of light.
The white front of the umbrella acts like a softbox. It gives you a soft light effect with minimal shadows that is excellent for portrait photography. It also gives the round catchlights in the subject’s eyes that enhance portraits.
The light is inserted inside the shoot-through umbrella to use it effectively. You can move the light anywhere along the shaft and get varied light effect. Move it closer for softer effects and further for harder effects.
Best used with AriesX 12ft Light Stand, AriesX Boom Light Stand
