Why colours may look different
Screen: Screens use RGB light to simulate colours, while physical materials use dyes and pigments. Screens or photography cannot perfectly reproduce a physical colour. Manufacturers also estimate a 15-20% variation across displays.
Lighting: We photograph all backdrops with 2 AriesX Xpress 600s, both mounted with AriesX Translucent Umbrellas pointed at the backdrop at 45 degrees. AriesX flashes have a spectral output closest to natural daylight in a controlled environment. We use this setup to achieve the most neutral, accurate colour rendering possible. The same product will look noticeably different under LED, tungsten, fluorescent or even daylight at different times of the day. If you want to recreate the website image, you will need to use the same lighting setup as us.

Muslin is 165gsm in thickness and canvas is 250gsm in thickness. Muslin is light, portable and comes folded in a box. Canvas is thicker, more durable and comes rolled around a cardboard core.

It is very easy to install either version of this backdrop. The muslin has a rod pocket for quick and easy crossbar insertion. The canvas backdrop has a cardboard core in which can also insert any crossbar. Both versions are compatible with different backdrop mounts.
Yes, Auburn Red Brushwork backdrop is suitable for all types of professional photography and videography shoots. It is matte, non-reflective and non-transparent. You get results without any glares, hotspots, reflections or light bounce.
