Why colours may look different
Screen: Screens use RGB light to simulate colours, while physical materials use dyes and pigments. Screens or photography cannot perfectly reproduce a physical colour. Manufacturers also estimate a 15-20% variation across displays.
Lighting: We photograph all backdrops with 2 AriesX Xpress 600s, both mounted with AriesX Translucent Umbrellas pointed at the backdrop at 45 degrees. AriesX flashes have a spectral output closest to natural daylight in a controlled environment. We use this setup to achieve the most neutral, accurate colour rendering possible. The same product will look noticeably different under LED, tungsten, fluorescent or even daylight at different times of the day. If you want to recreate the website image, you will need to use the same lighting setup as us.

The Muslin fabric is 165gsm in thickness and is lighter. It has a rod pocket to easily slide a crossbar in. The Canvas fabric is 250gsm in thickness and is heavier in comparison. It comes rolled around a cardboard core for installation and storage.
Keep the backdrop in perfect condition by using acrylic sheets, rugs, carpets or other backdrops on top of it. The backdrop is delicate and handpainted so the colours can be easily destroyed by washing or cleaning with normal soap or any chemicals.
Our team of artists craft each Baroque Studio backdrop in our workshops in India. Each backdrop is painted by hand and the design, colour and details are all added by hand too.
It is very easy to install either version of this backdrop. The muslin has a rod pocket for quick and easy crossbar insertion. The canvas backdrop has a cardboard core in which can also insert any crossbar. Both versions are compatible with different backdrop mounts.
The website images of this handpainted backdrop are shot with professional studio flashes and photography equipment. You can achieve the same results by using the same light setup as our photography team. It is mentioned in the Notes section of the product page.
